Jalissa Sostre
I graduated in 2017 from my Masters degree from Elms College in Chicopee, MA in Autism Spectrum Disorders in 2017. I obtained my supervision hours for my BCBA doing in-home ABA as a supervisor. I became a BCBA in 2019 and later the Assistant Training Director with that same company, helping the director develop the training protocol for the company. I assisted with all things training and helped with ensuring that BCBA programs were being run to training fidelity. I left the company in 2022 to come to River Street School in Windsor, CT to work with children with severe problem behavior in the school setting. I oversee two classrooms ranging from ages 17-20. There I write behavior plan goals into IEPs, specifically increasing independence and getting them ready for graduation and day programs. During my time off, I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog Kylo Ren.
